Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Our client is a Global leader in Utilities that is experiencing exponential growth. We have an ongoing position for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to maintain their diverse fleet with both day and afternoon shifts available.

The successful candidate will be based at their Newcastle depot and work on a range of Heavy Commercial and Industrial Vehicles. If you’re beginning your career or a specialist in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, then we want to hear from you!

What’s Involved?

• Servicing, routine maintenance and general running repairs of Heavy Vehicles
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Working Autonomously as well as part of a team

What we’re looking for:

• Trade Qualified Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
• Forklift, HR Licence and Working at Heights - highly regarded but not essential
• A can do attitude
• Great communication and teamwork abilities
• Excellent references to support your application

What we can offer you:

• Ongoing position
• Choose your shift - Day or Arvo
• $59 / hour - casual day shift rate
• $69 / hour - casual afternoon shift rate
• Potential to transition to Full Time Permanent
